Multi-use facility makes the most of smart concession planning
When one location is home to a variety of events from world class racing to entertainment, and spread across 1,500 acres no less- a comprehensive concession plan is key to operating at full capacity.
Sodexo asked Ikoniq to create a large-scale portable plan to be used at Circuit of the Americas. Our design inspiration came from the existing facility architecture, and a global Formula One aesthetic.
In addition to over 90 portable carts, we manufactured multiple pre-fab buildings to serve as signature venue destinations. To ensure the carts and kiosks would adapt to the wide variety of terrains at the venue (i.e. grass, clay, concrete), we invented and manufactured an innovative modular axle system that can be used to move the units throughout the facility.
