With a storied history that includes iconic performances and major league milestones, Nassau Coliseum’s outdated facilities and design were no longer meeting the expectations of its urban audience. The $165 million, 18-month renovation project led by operators Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment aimed to renew the venue’s appeal and functionality. We contributed to this transformation by delivering versatile, self-contained concession carts that complement the arena’s contemporary redesign and serve its diverse events seamlessly.
Our innovative concession carts were crafted with durability, beauty, and flexibility in mind, aligning with Nassau Coliseum's refreshed image. The modular carts can be strategically deployed to match the specific needs of each event, from intimate theater performances for 4,500 attendees to mega-concerts hosting up to 16,000 guests. These self-contained units offer unparalleled adaptability, allowing them to be restocked or completely reconfigured with new signage and products in minutes. This versatility ensures a seamless experience for guests while maximizing operational efficiency in a high-traffic venue.
“Since carts are self-contained units, they can be moved at a moment’s notice, to respond to changes in traffic or need,” says Ikoniq CEO Brian Casterline. “They can be restocked on the fly, or stripped of signage and product and re-outfitted with an entirely different product line in as little as a few minutes. They are ideal solutions for these large venues and back-to-back events.”
