Ikoniq partnered with SUNY Oneonta to design a press box that meets the demands of all-weather conditions and game-day functionality, delivering a facility built to last.
SUNY Oneonta required a solution that was durable, mobile, and versatile enough to accommodate up to 10 individuals with varying needs. Ikoniq’s innovative shipping container design provided the perfect balance of strength, functionality, and aesthetic appeal to meet these requirements.
Designed to endure punishing winds, rain, and snow, the repurposed shipping container boasts a highly durable automotive paint finish in the school’s colors, ensuring a lasting, vibrant appearance. Inside, a floorboard panel provides easy access to the scoreboard, PA system, and electrical connections, streamlining game-day operations.
Safety was also a top priority, with high-impact glass panels installed to shield staff from out-of-bounds play and sturdy awnings designed to deflect rain and snow while securing the unit when not in use.
